Flower Power Flaunting

Well, summer is already here and we have to agree, the only thing we’ve been longing to do this season is to ditch the denim and embrace the shorts/skirts.

A huge hello to each one of you reading this.

Here I am, striking you right back with another look which -I’m guessing- is good enough to beat both the heat and the denims. Floral is that one perfect summer staple you can never afford to miss out on. Fresh floral prints on dresses, rompers, co-ords and what not; I personally believe that this trend is here to stay and how.

For today’s look, I tried to channel my inner floral child and added a burst of summer to my favourite classic piece of white shirt, to create quite an interesting outfit. I planned on teaming up this versatile white shirt of mine with a lovely, floral printed pencil skirt from Forever 21, which almost screams spring.

I was a little apprehensive about the whole combination but at the end of it all, they did turn out to be great companions.

To tone down this look a little, white trainer shoes along with the marsala backpack, turned out to be the correct options.

I also added a simple blue crystal neckpiece to this outfit instead of a statement necklace to maintain its subtlety, along with the smooth DW brown belt leather watch and a classic T-shaped gold bracelet.

Not to forget those green lennon reflectors, which completed the look.

I hope you’re prepared to slay your floral ensemble this season when you’re on the go. Bloom this season with some floral fashion and do let me know what you think about this spring-summer look in the comments section below.

Until next time,
